-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've
been with A&L for ten years. In
that time, I have had their regular Money
Back card, and their Gold Card. Double
money back from the likes of BP are
useful - nearly
everyone has to buy petrol. The Quadruple
points are a little more selective, which
can be a little less attractive. A&L are keen (like any bank) to retain
their customer base. For those earning £20K
plus, accounts are upgraded to Premier
with automatic gold card. Money back as
usual,
but APR of 13.9%. Balance transfers are
available, and rate is for entirety of
repayment, not
just a few months. A&L
Money Back card also offers no annual
fee, and that in itself makes it attractive.
The bank are not online, but existing customers
can make payments over the telephone. Onther
card holders can use direct debit or BACS
via their banks. Although, only ten days
(approx.) are allowed for full payment,
those paying part balance do have extra
days. |
